After graduate and postgraduate studies, Stephen Johnson’s career in music combined session work with teaching. After many years in professional music, he took lessons in piano accompaniment from Michael Neaum.

He has worked in concert, theatre and television over the years. More recently, he has adjudicated the Nottingham Young Musician of the year on two occasions and takes great pleasure in working with his former students who are now themselves professional musicians.
