Harmonies in Flight Since 1968

Cantamus’ journey began in 1968 by Pamela Cook MBE with a vision to provide a platform for aspiring young talents to grow, express themselves, and make a positive impact through music.

Since our creation, we've been nurturing voices and fostering a deep appreciation for the art of choral singing.

Cantamus has a history of remarkable achievements, from winning 1st prize in Hungary in 1972 to double 1st prizes at Montreux in 1978. Their legacy includes titles like "Choir of the World" at Llangollen in 1997 and multiple international gold medals. Notably, Cantamus most recently claimed 1st place in the youth class at The North Wales Choir Festival 2022, showcasing their ongoing commitment to musical excellence.

Cantamus proudly holds its place as the best UK-based youth choir

as recognized by the current Interkultur rankings, 2023.

As they advance, our singers join Cantamus Training Choir. Here, they receive top-notch vocal training and perform repertoire that challenges and inspires growth.

The crown jewel of our organization, Cantamus Girls Choir, has earned accolades and touched hearts worldwide. Their harmonious voices are a testament to years of dedication and hard work.
