“Eve of Provence”

Saturday 27th June 2020, 7.00pm, The Space, Squire Performing Arts Centre, Nottingham Girls’ High School, Arboretum Road, Nottingham

Cantamus will be performing the competition repertoire prepared for their participation in the International Choral Competition in Provence, which unfortunately has now been cancelled. The girls would have been performing in three different choir classes; Classical and Opera, Popular Music and Sacred Music where, again, they will be demonstrating their mastery of a wide range of repertoire.  The concert will include all of the competition programmes plus a selection of old favourites.

For this concert we are delighted to be in a fantastic new venue for Cantamus as we sought to find the closest venue to the theatre where the competition will be held.  So with a bar available before the concert and during the interval, why not come along and lend the girls your support as they gain useful experience in preparation for the concert.

Allocated Seat Tickets will be available from 1 June via email from Sue Taylor at susietaylor@hotmail.com, or by phone on 07519 326180. Tickets are £15 Adults, £10 for children aged 12-18, £5 for children aged under 11.

2020 Past Events

In February we were delighted to host a visit from the Kurczewski School of Coral Arts Vocal Ensemble from Poznan, Poland with a series of workshops followed by a concert at St Mark’s Parish Church Mansfield for our new friends from Poland.  Cantamus Senior and Training Choirs and Cantamus Cherubs all performed to a warm and appreciative audience.
