Freya was an original member of the training choir when it was formed in 1992 and spent 10 years with Cantamus.

After graduating from Birmingham Conservatoire, Freya obtained her PGCE in secondary music and began a career in secondary music teaching.

She has been the vocal tutor and choral mistress at Nottingham Girls High School for the last 12 years where she runs several choirs and has a thriving vocal practice.
